Koru

Soft where the others are sharp. The Koru takes its name from the Māori symbol of the unfurling fern. A spiral that represents new beginnings, growth, and the quiet continuity of living things. The form follows the feeling: a wide, open bowl with a gently undulating rim that traces the same organic curve in every direction, like a flower seen from above, or a cloud settling into a shelf.

Yours in layers. Each tier is printed in a colour of your choice, so the bands that follow the undulating silhouette around the full circumference are entirely your own combination — tonal and calm, or warmly contrasted. The surface is deeply textured in a fine stone-like finish that reads as rendered ceramic up close and as something softer, more organic, from across the room.

Open and generous: the wide, shallow bowl is designed to hold what you love: jewellery, rings, a few small objects, a candle without crowding them. The undulating walls keep things contained without feeling like a vessel. It lands somewhere between tray, dish, and sculpture.

The matching tray: a flat, scalloped tray in a single tone sits beneath, completing the piece and protecting the surface below.

Material: Printed in PLA — a plant-based bioplastic made from renewable cornstarch, not petroleum. Rigid, precise, and significantly lower in embodied carbon than conventional plastics. Like all natural materials, it's happiest indoors and away from sustained direct heat.

Care: Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Keep away from prolonged exposure to heat sources to maintain shape.
